Overview: Parkland is looking for a talented and motivated lawyer to join our team and help execute on Parkland's growth strategy, which is a fundamental aspect of Parkland's overall business plan. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment on Parkland's M&amp;A, corporate finance, and other corporate matters portfolio. Working closely with clients in Parkland's business, including its corporate development team, the successful candidate will advise on legal issues and strategy on a range of corporate transactions and will have full involvement with the business over the course of the entire M&amp;A cycle, from initial offers to deal signing, and into post-closing business integration. The successful candidate will work closely with Parkland's treasury and finance teams in funding our growth strategy by advising on our debt and equity financing transactions. Other responsibilities include advising on Parkland's continuous disclosure obligations and internal corporate matters. Opportunities will also exist to work on Parkland&rsquo;s commercial and other business arrangements, giving the successful candidate valuable hands-on business experience.<br />
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Advise business clients on legal, commercial and strategic matters.</li> <li>Advise on corporate and securities matters with respect to financing activities and continuous disclosure obligations.</li> <li>Perform all aspects of M&amp;A transactions, including conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents and closing transactions.</li> <li>Work with internal clients directly to provide guidance and support for a variety of strategic business initiatives.</li> </ul>
