Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Align organizational cyber security strategy and infrastructure with overall business and technology strategy&nbsp;</li> <li>Participate in the design for enterprise-class security systems in use to better detect, protect and monitor cyber threats for all key systems in use in the company&nbsp;</li> <li>Define processes that will facilitate the support of the security systems in use&nbsp;</li> <li>Interpret current or future regulation to support GRC activities&nbsp;</li> <li>Review contracts and negotiations with 3rd parties to ensure privacy and security compliance&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain accurate risk register and tracking policy exceptions&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop reporting metrics and KPIs&nbsp;</li> <li>Serve as the point of contact to develop and drive any activities related to privacy and information security;&nbsp;</li> <li>Regularly communicate vital information, security needs and priorities to upper management&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute to the development, and oversight of a global security management strategy and framework including all Parkland entities;&nbsp;</li> <li>Ensure technology, processes, and governance are in place to monitor, detect, prevent, and react to both current and emerging technology / security threats against Parkland&rsquo;s business;&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop on-going Technology Risk reporting, monitoring key trends and defining metrics to regularly measure control effectiveness for own area;</li> <li>Work proactively with technology partners / stakeholders and service/platform owners to ensure all technology security components are integrated into the company&rsquo;s overall Enterprise Architecture, and any control gaps are addressed;&nbsp;</li> <li>Consult on Regulatory compliance requirements, reporting and questions;&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide support and consulting in preparation for Audits and in composing management responses and appropriate remediation activities;&nbsp;</li> <li>Influence behavior to reduce risk and foster a strong technology risk management culture throughout the enterprise;</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>Undergraduate or masters&rsquo; degree preferably in one of the following areas: Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, and other related majors&nbsp;</li> <li>7+ years of relevant information security experience with a proven ability to engage&nbsp;</li> <li>Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) or related certification&nbsp;</li> <li>Good understanding of various security domains and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO)&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of technical IT infrastructure, networks, databases and systems in relation to IT Security and IT Risk.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in defining metrics and KPIs, implementing cybersecurity/risk dashboards&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing Cyber Security skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability and comfort level researching current and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent teamwork skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Multi-task with minimum supervision, uphold commitments made</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Please note:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada at this time.
