Overview: The Yard Person / Plant Operator performs a combination of plant operations, heavy equipment operation, haul truck operation, routine plant maintenance, and general ground person duties to support safe and efficient quarry production. This position operates and monitors crushing, screening, conveying, and material-handling equipment; operates mobile equipment; performs inspections, housekeeping, and hands-on maintenance work; manages material flow; and supports customer and hauling operations.The role requires flexibility to perform both equipment-based and manual labor tasks throughout the quarry as operational needs dictate, including maintenance and repair activities on crushers, screens, conveyors, feeders, and associated processing equipment.
