Overview: The Laborer/Flagger supports asphalt paving and roadway construction operations by performing general labor duties and maintaining safe traffic control around active work zones. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safety of crew members, motorists, and pedestrians while assisting with paving, site preparation, and cleanup activities.

Requirements: <ul> <li>Previous construction, paving, flagging, or roadway work experience preferred.</li> <li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation.</li> <li>Flagger certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.</li> <li>Ability to work variable shifts and long hours, including nights and weekends if needed.</li> <li>Strong attention to safety and situational awareness.</li> <li>Reliable attendance and punctuality required.</li> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred.</li> <li>Authorized to work in the U.S.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>Other Duties:</strong><br /><br />Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. This position works outdoors in most types of weather, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and other inclement conditions. This position works near moving mechanical parts, active roadway traffic, and loud equipment. This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time and frequently bend, kneel, squat, climb, walk, sit, reach, balance, drive, and perform repetitive motions. The position also requires manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to maintain visual awareness of surroundings for safety purposes.
