Experience selling to full price sporting goods and Athletic Specialty Stores Required.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Meet with retail buyers to present product releases on a continuous basis and sell to achieve set budgets for each account.</li> <li>Interfaces with buyers for successful order execution.</li> <li>Assist in building and developing financial budgets by brand, by account in partnership with the Planning Dept to ensure gross margin goals are achieved.</li> <li>Present assortment, door plan recommendations.</li> <li>Understanding the chargebacks process of each account. Research and establish action points to reduce them.</li> <li>Pre-meeting preparation with those involved to strategize and organize.</li> <li>Assist in Sales presentation set up/ follow through including: Meeting agendas and meeting recaps that are proactive and results oriented.</li> <li>Understand competitors&rsquo; strengths and weaknesses .</li> <li>Assist in Inventory management &ndash; move available items to sell.</li> <li>Travel to accounts and trade shows&nbsp;</li> <li>Make sure sales information is accurate on the system&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Should possess excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to ultimately manage accounts independently</li> <li>Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets &amp; Google Apps.&nbsp;</li> <li>Some knowledge of retail math</li> <li>Presentation skills that can be developed.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and multitask</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;REQUIREMENTS&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Merchandising, Business or related field</li> <li>3+ years experience in accessories or&nbsp; apparel sales&nbsp; within the sporting goods industry and/or retail buying experience is preferred; experience in managing multiple accounts a plus</li> </ul> <br />NY: $91,815-$111,070
