Responsibilities: <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>Administers the overall activities of the venue&rsquo;s operation on assigned shift.</li> <li>Establishes and administers training programs within the assigned venues.</li> <li>Counsels, guides and instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties.</li> <li>Direct the development and administration of controls for all phases of the venue in an economical and profitable manner while maintaining established standards.</li> <li>Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and inspects menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Supervises staff on shift and ensures proper staffing levels in order to provide high standards of service with minimum labor hours.</li> <li>Maintains and instructs assigned personnel on safety policies and procedures and follows up to ensure that hazards are eliminated.</li> <li>Monitors appearance of food served and communicates deviations from standard.</li> <li>Performs assigned input work in compiling annual budgets.</li> <li>Service standards used to measure success include, turnover rate, high staff morale, labor cost in line with budget and cleanliness of venue.</li> <li>Ensure team members to clean their areas as they perform their duties and assist with cleaning in other areas.</li> <li>Cross-train those within your department while encouraging, reinforcing, and supporting your peers and team.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div>
Requirements: <ul> <li>College degree or equivalent work experience.</li> <li>Two years' direct management experience.</li> <li>Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge in the food and beverage industry; restaurant, bar, or banquets.</li> <li>Ability to maintain responsible alcohol service certification.</li> <li>Ability to communicate via written and verbal formats.</li> <li>Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and team members.</li> <li>Ability to perform basic math skills.</li> <li>Ability to perform statistical analyses.</li> <li>Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.</li> <li>Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations.</li> <li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li> <li>Ability to work all shifts and holidays.</li> <li>Ability to stand for extended periods of time.</li> <li>Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 50 lbs.</li> </ul>
