Overview: <p style="font-weight: 400;">The Quality Engineer is responsible for Continuous support of the manufacturing floor quality processes, corrective actions and countermeasures, follow-up on projects, program development and implementation, supporting documentation and records.&nbsp;Will assist within the various PBE factories on specific projects.&nbsp;</p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible in assisting in managing the supplier and subcontractor base</li> <li>Active lead in corrective and preventive action reviews and responses and follow-up verification.</li> <li>Heavy involvement in new program development and implementation.</li> <li>Participant in all ISO activities to include implementation and audits.</li> <li>A key participant in the development and maintenance of the work instructions.</li> <li>Responsible for DCMA and Incoming planning and activities.</li> <li>Create appropriate planning methods and means of supporting production.</li> <li>Participates in data entry and analysis activities.</li> <li>Continuous plant wide audits of calibration, job competency, correct revision level documents in use and verification of key processes to make certain these are in place, understood and are working.</li> <li>Assembles, with input, the Management Reviews.</li> <li>Conducts random traceability and product identification audits and defines methods for improvement.</li> <li>Upkeep of the Training Records for Production and Quality employees.</li> <li>Responsible for working according to the company&rsquo;s safety and quality standards.</li> <li>Maintains a safe and clean work area.&nbsp;</li> <li>Performs other related duties as required and assigned.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <ul style="font-weight: 400;"> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience which includes supervisory responsibility and ISO knowledge or its equivalent experience.</li> <li>Lean Manufacturing experience, statistical applications experience and quality requirements experience.</li> <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.</li> <li>Self-driven and results-oriented with a clear focus on high quality and business profit as well as a natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance.</li> <li>Must be able to read, speak and write English. Speaking Spanish is beneficial.</li> <li>Must be authorized to work in the USA.&nbsp;</li> <li>&nbsp;ISO Auditor training certification.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
