Independent Contractor (1099)

$50.00 To $500.00 Annually

Overview: We&rsquo;re seeking self-reliant, results-driven individuals to serve as Private Process Servers. This independent contractor role offers flexibility and autonomy. You&rsquo;ll drive your own car, set your own schedule (within our flexible guidelines), and we&rsquo;ll provide all necessary tools and support.<br /><br /> <p>South Carolina</p> <div> <ul> <li>Must be in or live near&nbsp;<span data-pasted="true">Abbeville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, Union Counties in&nbsp;</span>South Carolina</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Flexible schedule</li> </ul> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>4-hour shift</li> <li>8-hour shift</li> <li>Day shift</li> <li>Monday to Friday</li> <li>Weekends as needed</li> </ul> </div>
Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li>Deliver legal documents and update information through our mobile apps (PSO Mobile).</li> <li>Aim for three service attempts, including various times of the day and weekends.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Key to Success:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Organization: Plan your routes for efficiency.</li> <li>Personality: Build rapport with recipients for positive interactions.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>We pay per completed job, regardless of outcome (served or not).</li> <li>Cases must be attempted at least every 72 hours.</li> <li>Support will be provided by a SC-based liaison.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul type="disc"> <li>Commitment to honesty and accuracy.</li> <li>Dependable transportation, valid driver&rsquo;s license, and insurance.</li> <li>Willingness to work variable hours, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.</li> <li>Familiarity with mobile apps (everything is done through our proprietary app).</li> <li>Access to a computer, printer, and scanner.</li> <li>Residence within or near the listed county is preferred.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Ideal Candidates:</strong><br /><br />Experience in private investigation, law enforcement, or process serving is a plus.</p> <p><br /><strong>Apply:</strong><br /><br />Interested candidates should email their updated resume to gwenevere.turner@provest.us</p>
