This approach defines our success and sets us apart.</p> <p><strong>Who we need</strong></p> <p>Reporting to the Director of Sales, we need to add a <strong>Senior Account Manager</strong> to play a critical end-to-end sales role on our team and further our rapid growth. We need a Senior Account Manager with the sales expertise, relationship building finesse and technical confidence to actively seek new sales opportunities, develop new business from existing clients and oversee a portfolio of assigned customers. This is an opportunity for someone with a passion for what they do, looking for new challenges and an uncapped commission structure. The growth potential for a business savvy hunter comfortable in the Enterprise IT space is unlimited. This is a role for someone who can capitalize on insights and take action.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>What our Account Manager will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Project X Ltd. Service offerings, capabilities, and differentiating value.</li> <li>End-to-end sales management. From account and territory planning to rigorous pipeline/forecasting. From sales cycle management to strategic selling &ndash; including discovery, ROI, negotiations and multi-year deal structuring.</li> <li>Build relationships. Initiate conversations with prospective clients, fostering a trusting relationship to gain an in-depth understanding of their critical business issues and technical environment. Propose a Project X solution by bringing a point of view on various topics in the marketplace (i.e., Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, Big Data) and the unique advantages we offer.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div class="col col-xs-7 job-description summary"> <div class="description"> <p><strong>And how do we know that&rsquo;s you? You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The right combination of education and experience. A university degree or college diploma combined with direct experience: <ul> <li>Ideally, you have 10 or more years in Business Development, Account Management or Sales as a key contributor at a <strong>software professional services </strong>organization. Experience selling in the <strong>Insurance, Financial Services and/or TeleCo is ideal.</strong></li> <li>You have a proven track record selling to C-Suite executives and consistently exceeding sales quotas; outperforming peers; building up a new business with enterprise customers and laying the foundation for future opportunities.</li> </ul> </li> <li>The initiative, curiosity and work ethic. You have a contagious enthusiasm to unlock doors and find new opportunities. You are flexible to travel 25%+, driven, organized and a self-starter.</li> <li>The practical knowledge. You have in-depth knowledge of and passion for Analytics, enterprise software, user experience design, and strategic services.</li> <li>The relationship building skills. You have a history of successfully building and maintaining relationships with key industry players and experience working with engagement teams to ensure account work is projected accurately and efficiently allocated.</li> <li>The communication skills. You can communicate complex information and issues to all levels of the organization. You excel at making presentations, negotiating terms of engagement, navigating obstacles, and responding strategically to clients&rsquo; needs. The written materials you produce are equally impressive and effective.</li> <li>A consulting state-of-mind. It&rsquo;s a thing. You&rsquo;ll know if you have it. So will we. You can work autonomously and away from headquarters for long periods of time.
