Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Procures, validates, and evaluates loss data, prepares special reports, completes analysis and makes recommendations to management relating loss control, premium allocation, claims mitigation, etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>Evaluates loss data for root cause analysis and interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in preparing quarterly data and loss triangles for Actuarial Analysis.&nbsp;</li> <li>Analyzes actuarial results and impact on Pulte/NABIC/CICNA.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepares, develops and analyzes division risk allocations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist in forecasting and budgeting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with Risk Finance Manager to develop insurance and loss expense allocations and cost benefit analysis.&nbsp;</li> <li>Analyze and assist in ensuring Risk Department is in compliance with internal controls.&nbsp;</li> <li>Verifies and processes expenditures as they relate to department accounting and budgeting.</li> <li>Prepares and distributes quarterly Reinsurance Billing and Carrier Loss Runs.&nbsp;</li> <li>Monitor loss data report on policy limit erosion.&nbsp;</li> <li>Interacts with Pulte&rsquo;s s insurance brokers regarding data presented, resolution of billing issues and aggregate erosion.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prepares and analyzes data for underwriting renewal submissions and interacts with insurance brokers as necessary.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assists in preparing financial statements, cash flow projections, and reserve analysis.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with monthly financial closing process, and general ledger reconciliations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Works with outside captive management and others to maintain captive insurance subsidiaries and risk retention group.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Business, or equivalent.</li> <li>Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in Property/Casualty insurance industry or finance related positions.</li> <li>Minimum of 1 to 3 years at an analyst level.</li> <li>Knowledge of principles of risk management, actuarial science, insurance industry practices, and accounting.</li> <li>Knowledge of insurance policy language and contracts.</li> <li>Good written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work with various levels in the organization and with outside vendors.</li> <li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills.</li> <li>Strong analytical and organizational skills.</li> </ul>
