Responsibilities: <strong>What you will do:</strong><br /> <br /> <ul> <li>Responsible for timely month end closing process and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.</li> <li>Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and cash flow projections.</li> <li>Prepare supporting documentation for the Division&rsquo;s Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.</li> <li>Verify accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications within the financial statements.</li> <li>Coordinate accounting matters with other departments within the division. Prepare income statement and balance sheet variance analysis for review by the division finance leaders.</li> <li>Maintain land project budgets and assists with land department invoice processing.</li> <li>Prepare bi-weekly sales commission reports. Review of house cost project budgets at least monthly.</li> <li>Assist with preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual plans.</li> <li>Coordinate work efforts with National Shared Services.</li> <li>Assist with internal and external auditors.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>What you will need:</strong> <br /> <ul> <li>Minimum Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field).</li> <li>CPA designation or equivalent highly desirable.</li> <li>Minimum 3 years general accounting or finance experience.</li> <li>Strong Knowledge of accounting theory and practice.</li> <li>Very good verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Very good analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under time pressure.</li> </ul>
