Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assists in the feasibility process by preparing models to support the Land and Finance teams</li> <li>Assist Land and Finance teams to ensure appropriate documentation of all land entitlement and development expenditures and budgets. Activities may occur during feasibility process and/or through the life cycle to community build out</li> <li>Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for submission to Home Office. Forecast land, margin, and other related statistics.</li> <li>Generate financial models for property taxes, HOA funding, and land overhead absorption.</li> <li>Analyze historical changes in property tax requirements to develop/fund budget.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field)</li> <li>Certified Public Accounting license (active or inactive) preferred</li> <li>Minimum 3 years public and/or corporate accounting experience</li> <li>Strong analytical skills</li> <li>Good knowledge of GAAP and financial reports</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to organize and manage projects</li> <li>Broad knowledge of land acquisition and land development</li> </ul>
