They are seeking a highly driven, ambitious&nbsp;and gifted Business Development professional who will help the company achieve an aggressive growth plan.&nbsp;</li> <li>Although the company is located in London, the target clients are across Southern Ontario and the candidate can live outside the area and work in a self directed, work from home capacity with regular visits to the London office and ongoing communication through phone, email and activity reports.&nbsp;</li> <li>Business Development Role has uncapped commissions, with expected six figure total compensation.&nbsp;</li> <li>This is a sales focused job, must have stamina, energy and the ability to balance. There will be an expected commitment of longer hours to get target client contact established.&nbsp;</li> <li>The successful candidate joining our business development team will have a customized on-boarding training plan developed that will see you up and running quickly. We can teach you the critical aspects of our business. You need to bring your 'A' game attitude, drive, sales skills and desire to succeed.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Candidate would be responsible for the development of new clients and new business in commercial mortgage and related financing primarily in Southern Ontario and the GTA. Some travel is required to service the new clients you will develop.&nbsp;</li> <li>Responsible for providing the highest level of client service.&nbsp;</li> <li>Responsible for being an effective negotiator and can successfully sell on value rather than on price.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must possess strong written, and verbal communication skills,&nbsp;combined with business acumen to relate with target clients' expectations.</li> <li>Has a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office software solutions with a basic knowledge of contract structures.</li> <li>A business oriented college diploma or university degree (or related experience) would round out your skill set.&nbsp;</li> <li>Several years of successful new business development experience in a B2B environment.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge in commercial real estate and experience in commercial lending would be an incredible asset.&nbsp;</li> <li>Successful candidate must&nbsp;obtain mortgage agent license, FSCO with support from the company.&nbsp;</li> <li class="gmail-msonormal">Police Check and Credit Check will be included in the hiring process.</li> <li class="gmail-msonormal">Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.</li> <li class="gmail-msonormal">Previous experience working remotely while achieving targets and effectively communicating sales activity ongoing.&nbsp;</li> <li class="gmail-msonormal">Our ideal prospect is intellectual, ambitious, analytical, persuasive, nimble, and business savvy.&nbsp;</li> <li class="gmail-msonormal">This is not just a pure sales role.
