Overview: <p>Stone Port is currently hiring an Architectural Sales Representative to join our team. We are actively looking to hire positive and motivated individuals that have experience in the specification of materials for commercial and residential projects. The Architectural Sales Representative is primarily responsible for developing a sales strategy that will create brand awareness and expose our products and services to Architects, Interior Designers and Builders. This individual will display the ability to think "outside of the box" to develop innovative solutions to current and future projects, and build trust to push sales process forward.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Identify prospective clients that fit within established sales strategy</li> <li>Proactively prospect Architects, Interior Designers and Builders.</li> <li>Manage ongoing prospecting process to gauge the long-term fit</li> <li>Research potential construction projects, introducing our capabilities and portfolio</li> <li>Effectively communicate where and how Stone Port can add value to a project</li> <li>Handle incoming inquiries and determine needs, provide estimates, and provide samples of products</li> <li>Travel to follow up on leads, deliver presentations, and liaise with clients</li> <li>Monitor the competition by gathering information on their products, pricing and other related issues</li> <li>Recommend changes by evaluating results and information received from marketplace</li> <li>Resolve client issues by being proactive in the tendering process</li> <li>Reach sales goals by their deadlines and execute corrective measures when sales results deviate</li> <li>Remain current with the latest trends and innovations</li> <li>Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, networking with associations to promote Stone Port.</li> <li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge</li> <li>Ensure correct usage of CRM</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Existing contacts with Architects, Interior Designers and Builders will be considered a major asset</li> <li>At least 3 years working with Architects, Interior Designers and Builders</li> <li>Sales experience in the residential and commercial interior finishes industry</li> <li>Must have record of success in prospecting, identifying and specifying products for residential and commercial projects</li> <li>Successful sales record having projects specified by major firms</li> <li>Must have achieved a minimum of $1,000,000 in gross sales</li> <li>Must be willing to travel throughout Greater Toronto Area</li> <li>Valid driver's license and own personal vehicle</li> <li>Fluent in English</li> </ul>
