Overview: <ul> <li>As part of the team with a Securities Dealer for a large financial institution, this position will be responsible for assisting two Senior Financial Advisors within their well-established Financial Planning practices.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: &bull; To provide courteous and prompt assistance to client requests and effectively assist in the general operations of the practice.<br />&bull; To respond to client enquiries in a timely fashion and resolve client issues efficiently and accurately.<br />&bull; To regularly contact clients and offer assistance, in-between review meetings.<br />&bull; Assist with client review reports and new client onboarding processes.<br />&bull; To manage the flow of outgoing and incoming applications and forms needed in the administration of new and existing clients.<br />&bull; To execute trades on client accounts for mutual funds, equities, &amp; fixed income and provide all POS delivery requirements.<br />&bull; To verbally confirm and then record all requested account transactions within relevant CRM systems.<br />&bull; To ensure that all client files and data is current and adheres to compliance regulations.<br />&bull; To print and mail quarterly newsletters to prospects and clients.<br />&bull; Conduct occasional marketing campaigns<br />&bull; Able to work with moderate supervision and on own initiative.<br />&bull; Be willing to enroll in educational programs to increase industry knowledge.<br />&bull; To maintain the confidential nature of the work at all times.<br /> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: Education<br /> <ul> <li>Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course, CPH, and Wealth Management Essentials.</li> <li>Life Insurance license an asset.</li> </ul> Experience<br /> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years in an administrative role in a client focused, financial services environment is preferred.</li> <li>High proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.</li> <li>Experience with any of Maximizer, Act!, NaviPlan, and Dataphile software an asset.</li> </ul> General Criteria<br /> <ul> <li>Strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Excellent organizational skills.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written &amp; verbal.</li> <li>Responsible and ownership minded &ndash; ability to see things through to their successful completion.</li> </ul>
