Responsibilities: Primary duties of the <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Event Marketing Coordinator</span>&nbsp;include:<br /><br />Manages the production of conference-related marketing materials, brochures and website copy, direct mail, magazine inserts, and social media copy.<br /><br />Acts as liaison between vendors and the Marketing Communications Department throughout the creative development process. <br /><br />Monitors production schedules and purchase orders.<br /><br />Plans and executes the email marketing and direct mail activities, scheduling and distribution.<br /><br />Works with conference staff to enhance the look of their messages and maintain quality control. Ensures that marketing materials conform to all branding guidelines. Includes designing templates and monitoring frequency of distribution and targets.<br /><br />Works with marketing coordinators and exhibiting departments to ensure that all predetermined conference materials arrive on time and according to specifications. May select and purchase giveaways and promotional items. Work with exhibiting departments and coordinators to breakdown conference experience pre and post show.
Requirements: Primary skills necessary for the Event Marketing Coordinator:<br /> <ul> <li>2-5 years of corporate advertising or event marketing experience is preferred</li> <li>Ability to understand and manage projects independently</li> <li>Ability to effectively prioritize, mult-task, and demonstrate attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders on the status of a project</li> <li>Strong computer skills using MS Office, In-Design, and web applications such as WordPress and email deployment applications<br /> <p>&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul>
