Overview: We are looking for a Specialist Level I: Administrative Technician to join our team in Port Huron, MI.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <p>An employee at this level is required to perform some or all of the following duties, which do not include all tasks to be performed:</p> <ul> <li>Provide support to the area of compliance and customer services.</li> <li>Gather aggregate and interpret data for reports regarding compliance, grievances and appeals.</li> <li>Develop written reports.</li> <li>Enter data into software systems.</li> <li>Generate data reports.</li> <li>Monitor submission of information by contract agencies.</li> <li>Assist with training (e.g. tracking, content).</li> <li>Answer compliance hotline.</li> <li>Assist with compliance activities.</li> <li>Participate on PIHP committees and workgroups.</li> <li>May need to respond after hours.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.</li> <li>Ability to solve a limited number of routine or similar problems when clear procedures are available.</li> <li>Ability to solve problems from a few specific alternatives.</li> <li>Ability to control own time and efforts.</li> <li>Ability to provide, exchange, and explain information of a technical or otherwise complex nature.</li> <li>Ability to deal with minor conflicts tactfully.</li> <li>Ability to work with individuals in a positive manner.</li> <li>Valid State of Michigan Driver&rsquo;s License.</li> <li>Must have access to transportation.</li> </ul> <strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Post-secondary education.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.</li> <li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Experience with utilizing PCE Systems software related to administrative reporting.</li> <li>Experience working at Pre-Paid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) and/or Community Mental Health (CMH).</li> <li>Knowledge of State of Michigan Medicaid Provider Manual.</li> </ul>
