Overview: An employee at this level is required to perform some or all of the following duties, which do not include all tasks to be performed:<br /> <ul> <li>Enter data into software systems</li> <li>Generate data reports</li> <li>Assist with performance indicator reports</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Monitor submission of information by contract agencies and prepare error reports as necessary</li> <li>Assist with contract monitoring reviews</li> <li>Monitor data accuracy and completeness in regards to data standards</li> <li>Participate on PIHP committees and workgroups</li> <li>Generate Explanation of Benefits (EOB) for beneficiaries</li> <li>Other tasks as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate</li> <li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel</li> <li>Ability to solve a limited number of routine or similar problems when clear procedures are available</li> <li>Ability to solve problems from a few specific alternatives</li> <li>Ability to control own time and efforts</li> <li>Ability to provide, exchange, and explain information of a technical or otherwise complex nature</li> <li>Ability to deal with minor conflicts tactfully</li> <li>Ability to work with individuals in a positive manner</li> <li>Valid State of Michigan Driver&rsquo;s License</li> <li>Must have access to transportation</li> </ul> <strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Post-secondary education</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel</li> <li>Basic knowledge of Quality Management</li> <li>Basic knowledge of MDHHS reporting</li> <li>Experience with utilizing PCE Systems software related to administrative reporting</li> <li>Experience working at Pre-Paid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) and/or Community Mental Health (CMH)</li> <li>Knowledge of State of Michigan Medicaid Provider Manual</li> </ul>
