Overview: Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch office to which the Branch Manager is assigned.
Responsibilities: Essential Job Functions<br /> <ul> <li>Recruit and hire Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and sales staff to originate residential mortgage loans in accordance with Reliance's policies, procedures and guidelines.</li> <li>Recruit and hire support staff.</li> <li>Assist in the implementation of Reliance's training programs for Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and staff directly and indirectly reporting to Branch Manager.</li> <li>Supervise and manage Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and support staff.</li> <li>&nbsp;Provide ongoing training, support and direction to Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and support staff.</li> <li>Develop and increase the volume of mortgage loans originations by&nbsp;Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers.</li> <li>Manage employee relations and evaluations.</li> <li>&nbsp;Participate in meetings and conference calls with Management.</li> <li>Comply with, and ensure that&nbsp;Mortgage Analysts, Origination Managers and staff comply with all of Reliance's policies, guidelines and procedures.</li> <li>Work closely with corporate HR department to handle all employee relations.</li> <li>Originate mortgage loans.</li> <li>Support the company's strong relationship culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.</li> <li>Perform such other duties as may be assigned by Management.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) Finance, Business, or Economics or two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Strong leadership and motivational abilities.</li> <li>Ability to maintain strong knowledge of the ever-changing guidelines of the mortgage industry through continuing education and licensing requirements.</li> <li>Excellent oral communication skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of FHA and HUD guidelines. (preferred but not required)</li> <li>Analytical and mathematical skills</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li> </ul> NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
