Responsibilities: The Early Talent Manager plays a critical leadesrhip role in the planning, development, execution and tracking of a variety of talent initiatives including campus recruiting, diversity initiatives, (LEAP) Leadership Excellence at PENN program management, full-cycle recruitment, and other strategic early talent initiatives. This leader works to build and maintain solid relationships with internal stakeholders and external community partners.&nbsp;<br /> <ul> <li>Responsible for executing the talent development strategy for internships and diversity initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating Company attendance at career/internship fairs, site visits, virtual meetings, informational panels, consultation with agencies, and/or contacts within the industry and larger community as needed.</li> <li>Serves as Corporate representative at college and career fairs to attract top talent for internship and diversity programs.</li> <li>Sources talent by using innovative and cost-effective means of generating high quality candidates for Talent Acquisition Shared Services (TA SS). Responsible for execution of full cycle recruiting as needed.</li> <li>Develops, tracks, maintains, and updates assigned spreadsheets as related to talent management initiatives.</li> Develops analytics roadmap linking performance to training, mentorship, and education levels. Maintains a scorecard by regional and university/college to present key takeaways to variety of audiences on program highlights, improvements, and areas for continuous improvement. <li>Continues to grow and strengthen our collegiate &amp; univeristy relationships and pipelines with exisiting and new HBCU and HSI partners, creating a roadmap to connect with students outside of career fairs.</li> <li>Develop new avenues for intern attraction, including newly approved gaming states, (i.e. North Carolina), to represent PENN in a variety of forums, creating a network of LEAP Ambassadors &amp; program champions.</li> <li>Nurture and build relationships with PENN's Diversity Scholarship recipients.</li> <li>Interviews candidates for internships and diversity programs. Selects final candidates to present to property and corporate leaders for placement in programs, in collaboration with Talent Management leadership.</li> <li>Performs specialized and/or confidential administrative duties, including researching data and preparing reports as needed.</li> <li>Focus on program retention and tracking mentorship with property mentors through utilization of the MentorCliq platform.</li> <li>Pairing process for LEAP alumni graduates with new Associates in phase 2 of our LEAP program.</li> <li>Provide training and development resources to properties for ongoing intern and associate support.</li> <li>Assists with serving as corporate liaison between property and interns. Maintains and cultivates relationships with all interns for the duration of the program.</li> <li>Schedules or coordinates interviews and internal meetings associated with areas of responsibility as needed.</li> <li>Assists Talent Acquisition team with, including but not limited to, onboarding, relocation, new TA team member training and recruitment efforts as needed.</li> <li>Assists with creation of material (e.g., &ldquo;how-to&rdquo; guides, FAQs, process maps, etc.) for talent and diversity related initiatives and processes. May partner with Internal Communications to develop broad communications.</li> <li>Supports partnerships with internal stakeholders to identify needs and assist with the development of programs to support Company competencies.</li> <li>Initiates, maintains, and enhances professional community relationships with external recruiting sources (e.g., colleges/universities, diversity organizations, recruiting agencies, professional organizations, etc.).</li> <li>Provides input for creating an employment &ldquo;Brand&rdquo; and supporting materials to communicate that &ldquo;Brand&rdquo; via employment ads, postings, our website, and recruiting materials.</li> <li>Social brand and campaign growth through media toolkits, career fair toolkits, and periodic internal surveys.</li> <li>Coordinates and steers live informational sessions via LinkedIn.</li> <li>Establishes and maintains relationships with employees at all levels of the organization providing both team members and leadership accurate and honest feedback.</li> <li>Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all Team Members and addresses issues as they arise.</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.</li> <li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all corporate, departmental and company matters.</li> </ul>
Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be at least 21 years of age.<br /> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Human Resources or related field from four-year college or university; or three to five years in Human Resources with emphasis in Talent Management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li> <li>Metrics matter. This leader should have 3-5 years&rsquo; experience tracking data/basic report pulling in Human Resources Information (HRIS) Systems.</li> <li>Efficiency is key. This leader shuld have 3-5 years&rsquo; experience recruiting through an Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required.</li> <li>In person connections can make the difference. This role is remote, however this leader should have the ability to travel as needed for career fair expos and other talent-related events.</li> <li>Proven experience building partnerships with diverse organizations, universities, local and national organizations, etc.</li> <li>Must have technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft applications with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Forms, Powerpoint, and Excel.</li> <li>Must have strong problem solving, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).</li> <li>Human Resources project management experience is preferred.</li> <li>A creative, forward-thinking philosophy towards continuous improvement is greatly appreciated.</li> <li>Must have excellent project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize varying projects, processes, and people management.</li> <li>Should possess an ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in a timely mannger from property leadership, team members, external talent partners and candidates.</li> <li>Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues to resolve problems or conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.</li> <li>Must have the ability to drive results and be proactive when working on tasks.</li> <li>This job does not have supervisory responsibilities, as it is currently a sole contributor role.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
