Overview: The Sr Network Engineer will provide expertise and leadership in the design and implementation of the technology stack within the Retail Business Services (RBS) Voice Platforms.<BR>This individual will work in a fast-paced and challenging environment leveraging forward-thinking technical engineering expertise in the services area of the enterprise.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Design, engineer, configure, implement, modify, maintain Unified Communication.</li> <li>Audio, Video technologies, Cisco Networking technologies, and Microsoft Teams.</li> <li>Lead the efforts required to solve for, architect, implement and operate new UC&nbsp;solutions and technologies into the enterprise, and ensure collaborative environment is highly available and functions as a mission critical service.</li> <li>Drive process improvement, deliver efficiency, and provide specifications of existing UC architecture to which solutions are defined, managed, and delivered.</li> <li>Assist with the planning, securing, and forecasting of Enterprise UC initiatives across the enterprise.</li> <li>Define and create a well-organized quality UC system architecture that will promote reliability and ease of maintenance.</li> <li>Lead the integration and interoperability of UC with multiple applications and platforms.</li> <li>Provide support and assistance in UC fault isolation and performance management processes as requested.</li> <li>Design and implement monitoring and reporting that exposes quality metrics necessary to measure the performance and effectiveness of Enterprise UC services, and to support decisions for continuous improvements.</li> <li>Provide real-time assistance to UC Engineers and Technicians and troubleshooting&nbsp;efforts in an on-demand function.</li> <li>Maintain and update skillset as it relates to what are coming trends in UC technologies and methods of delivering a future-focused collaborative environment.</li> <li>Develop and maintain comprehensive technical artifacts pertaining to the design, standards, implementation, assessment, and analysis of Enterprise UC services.</li> <li>Provide training, webinars, whitepapers as necessary to customers and on demand.</li> <li>Develop and maintain UC architecture diagrams.</li> <li>Contribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids.</li> <li>Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with operations and engineering teams on new solutions, systems, applications, and tools.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>5 years' experience with Cisco Unified Communications solution.</li> <li>Experience with ACD and Contact Center concepts.</li> <li>Experience with IT process automation.</li> <li>Experience creating new scripts, adding dialed numbers, interacting with admin scripts, CVP and major carriers.</li> <li>Experience with ISE and proficient in validating, creating, and implementing script changes and the various components of a call flow.</li> <li>Experience integrating Business Process Management systems with contact routing platforms.</li> <li>Experience working with major carrier networks and Intelligent Routing Platforms.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working with Cisco Voice Gateways and CUBE.</li> <li>Experience working with MGCP, H.323 and SIP implementation within voice network.</li> <li>Able to use third party tools in the support of the telephony systems.<BR>Including but not limited to-Xmedius, Informacast-E911, ISI Reporting, DNA, VM-Ware.</li> <li>Builds and configures phones and voice mail in support of moves, adds and changes.</li> <li>Key Skills: Communication, contact routing platforms, contact centers, IT process automation, ISE, voice platforms, telephony systems.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.</li> <li>Vendor certifications preferably Cisco.</li> <li>Good Knowledge about Retail Industry.</li> <li>Excellent speaking and writing skills.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize issues and work on multiple issues simultaneously.</li> </ul>
