Overview: The Reporting &amp; Analytics team is responsible to provide business intelligence solutions for development, summarizing and presenting HR, financial and business information to all functional stakeholders and the Brands from various reporting environments such as our Azure SQL data warehouse, ad-hoc data sources, and 3rd-party environments.<BR>The Analyst will support the delivery of recurring and ad-hoc reporting to support business needs.<BR>With general and specific guidance, the Analyst will conduct and present various HR analysis and utilize data to identify process gaps and help implement master data management processes.<BR>&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Works with stakeholders to develop and/or modify reporting or processes to resolve simple business problems by using IT solutions, includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting business requirements and translating business requirements into functional solutions.</li> <li>Develops reports, visualizations, and custom extracts using business intelligence tools.</li> <li>Develops stored procedures, views, custom tables, and defined business rules for reporting and analytic solutions.</li> <li>Develop a combination of simple to complex SQL queries to fulfill stakeholder&rsquo;s requests.</li> <li>Evaluates and works to improve the capabilities of Business Intelligence tools through new methodologies, technology, and data management.<BR>Review reports to improve accuracy, functionality, and consistency.</li> <li>Assists in the coaching and development of Power BI Pros throughout the organization.</li> <li>Provide daily support to functional users on all HR systems.</li> <li>Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business processes related to all relevant systems.</li> <li>Demonstrate an understanding of functionality, maintenance and support of the core HR systems.</li> <li>Serve as primary subject matter expert for HR reporting within all HR systems.</li> <li>Develop, test, and implement new solutions and enhancements.</li> <li>Estimate and evaluate effort for potential projects.</li> <li>Support ad-hoc reporting and HR data requests for all Brands.</li> <li>Support UAT and other application testing during routine and unscheduled maintenance cycles, system implementations or other integration projects.<BR>Assist with developing appropriate documentation such as business requirements and test scripts.</li> <li>Analyze and document current business functions to identify areas for opportunity.</li> <li>Regularly assist with the workspace and dataset review including updating documentation and providing support for internal/external testing.</li> <li>Use HR data and analytics expertise to influence business decisions, creating an HR competitive advantage for our diverse retail brands, supply chain, and shared services customers.</li> <li>Partner with IT to continuously improve the HR User Experience for HR systems, applications and technology &ndash; evaluating the effectiveness of current HR Solutions while leveraging industry best practices.</li> <li>Develop innovative solutions and analytics frameworks to help the business understand HR patterns and connections across the &lsquo;Hire to Retire&rsquo; lifecycle &ndash; creating actionable decision-making frameworks for our customers.</li> <li>Identify the need for and manage the framework of policies and technologies to ensure that the right users have the appropriate access to technology resources.</li> <li>Leads the management, monitoring, and improvement of existing and new enterprise BI Workspaces and supports IT processes such as change management, release management, and incident management.</li> <li>Designs, leads, provides end-user support for installation, customization, and usage of Power BI applications.&nbsp;</li> <li>Identifies structural weaknesses in the use of the Power BI applications and prepares changes in design or tuning.&nbsp;</li> <li>Manages and develops reporting and Power BI applications and implementation processes; managing, monitoring, and improving enterprise BI Workspaces and supports required IT processes such as change/release/incident management; testing, and validating software development, and performing quality assurance checks for applications.</li> <li>Acts as a liaison between central IT and HR functions, providing data input and special reports to supply the human resources department with data management support.&nbsp;</li> <li>Works with user groups in the HR organization to define information needs and sources.<BR>Works with central IT to develop plans for proposed solutions, including development and maintenance budgets.&nbsp;</li> <li>Supervises input of data and ensures data integrity.<BR>Prepares or supervises the preparation of special reports and analyses.&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.</li> <li>Power BI or Related Certification Required.</li> <li>SuccessFactors Certification Preferred.</li> <li>MBA preferred.</li> <li>7+ years of HRIS or significant proven analytical experience.</li> <li>3+ years of Power BI Reporting or Equivalent Configuration Experience Required.</li> <li>Critical and System Thinking.</li> <li>Advanced MS Office &ndash; especially Excel and Power BI.</li> <li>Written and spoken communication.</li> <li>Ability to write requirements documents.</li> <li>Strong Analytical skills.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail.</li> <li>HR System &amp; Configuration Knowledge.</li> <li>Moderate understanding of SQL scripting.</li> <li>Work independently.</li> <li>Strong Presentation skills; ability to present to senior business leadership.</li> <li>Aptitude for comprehending and leveraging both HR and technical concepts for continuous improvement and process re-design.</li> </ul>
