Overview: <br />Retail Business Services is the services company of leading grocery retail group Ahold Delhaize USA, currently providing services to five omnichannel grocery brands, including Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop &amp; Shop.<br /><br />This role is responsible for accurately validating, analyzing and auditing accounting/operational transactions and activity in business areas.<BR>This position is responsible for the Lease Administration and financial reporting for over 500 locations and $40-50M in expense each period ($500 million -$600 million Annually).<BR><br /><br /> <br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Oversee assigned portfolio for various billing inquiries and invoices.</li> <li>Perform audit of CAM reconciliations provided by landlords to ensure appropriate expenses are recorded and paid in accordance with legal documents.</li> <li>Maintain comprehensive notes and data regarding billings including negotiations with landlords, requests from Leasing &amp; Asset Mgmt., legal department, default notices, audit compliance and reporting requirements.</li> <li>Research and resolve inquiries from landlords and Brand real estate related to rent, CAM and other billings.</li> <li>Calculate and pay percentage rent payments for each location as required.</li> <li>Ensure Lease administration system is appropriately updated for escrow changes.</li> <li>Assist in calculation of pro rata payments for M&amp;A activities.</li> <li>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.</li> <li>Provide guidance to other team members (coordinator 1 team members).</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Ability to read and interpret legal documents (leases/default notices/other).</li> <li>Accounting acumen and strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Position requires knowledge of excel and Microsoft office as well as ability to navigate through access databases.</li> <li>Must be detail oriented.</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and balance large workload to meet deadlines.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or related experience in Lease Administration.</li> <li>5 years&rsquo; experience.</li> <li>Lease Administration experience.</li> </ul> <br />
