Overview: <p>This position will lead ADUSA operational support of allocation release and management within legacy Mainframe systems as well as provide strategic direction for forced distribution planning in support of Supply Chain and Brand business needs.<span class="Apple-converted-space">&nbsp;</span></p> <p>This Lead will drive and support the implementation of new tools and provide strategic leadership to the Demand Management leaders, which will then actively improve all aspects of the Forced Distribution Planning &amp; Governance functions and provide expertise amongst the Supply Chain within the Ahold Delhaize network; the primary focus being analytics, inventory optimization, process improvement, and planning.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide vision and strategic leadership guidance for leadership Self- Distribution (SD) Forced Distribution operational execution and DC allocation volume planning processes across all legacy AUSA facilities and each of the three ADUSA brands for Continuous improvement of planning, inventory, and demand management techniques, methods, and approach.</li> <li>Partner directly with Brand and Category leaders to understand their vision and develop &amp; execute the analysis necessary for making business decisions, measuring goal attainment and performance metrics within demand management.</li> <li>Lead Self-Distribution Project collaboration to ensure tracks appropriately support facility transitions</li> <li>Collaborate with forecasting, Brands, and DC and Store Operations re: sales planning for holiday and other key event execution (e.g., seasonal items, water, forget-me-nots).</li> <li>Directly manage large-scale demand management projects (e.g.<BR>Relex Program Planning, Relex Daily Order moothing, Robotic Process Automation [RPA]s, Fresh Direct)</li> <li>Assess long-term forced distribution strategy and implementation across each of the five AUSA and DA brands.</li> <li>Directly manage large-scale demand management projects (i.e., Kellogg&rsquo;s DSD to warehouse conversion).<BR>Lead the development of improved reporting and tracking of Forced Distribution operational execution (e.g., plan vs.<BR>ship) across all legacy AUSA facilities.</li> <li>Provide short- and long-term vision for calculated continuous improvement of planning, inventory, and demand management techniques, methods, and approach.</li> <li>Ensure creation and maintenance of accurate process and training documentation for new and existing tools (e.g., process maps, SOTs, standard practice training aids [SPTAs], etc.,</li> <li>Act as the lead to facilitate and implement strategic change for the team&rsquo;s tracks as required by business needs.</li> <li>Lead the functional area to support the implementation of the Supply Chain Strategy (best in class on-shelf availability [OSA]) Lead the implementation of new tools, including training, SOP creation (i.e., common F&amp;R systems)</li> <li>Ensuring Ensure new/current creation and maintenance of accurate process and training documentation for new and existing tools (e.g., process maps, SOTs, standard practice training aids [SPTAs], etc.) SOP and SPTA's reflect improved processes.</li> <li>Provide Demand Management strategic direction and planning for short- and long-term success.</li> <li>Work directly with business leaders to understand their requirements and develop &amp; execute the analysis necessary for making business decisions, measuring goal attainment and performance metrics within demand management.</li> <li>Use disciplines of DMAIC, DMADV, lean, and six sigma methodologies (green belt or Black belt training) &middot; Monitor forced distribution and overall team performance and conduct follow-up meetings to measure results and gauge KPIs.</li> <li>Identifying the need for new systems or improvements on existing replenishment systems including testing, advocacy, RFI's, continuous improvement, business requirements document (BRD) creation, etc.</li> <li>Provide representation and leadership for cross-functional teams to implement and sustain recommended business solutions.</li> <li>Lead cross-functional teams who are proactive in anticipating business needs and outcomes, as well as employing a root-cause analysis (&ldquo;ask why&rdquo; attitude) mentality to providing provide the business with viable, sustainable solutions.</li> <li>Act as the Ahold Delhaize demand management and overall Supply Chain SME in industry peer and work groups to promote demand management and supply chain requirements and drive industry standards</li> </ul>
