Responsibilities: Pay Details: $17.00 per hour | Shift Details: 11pm-7:30am<br /> <br />As a Utility Porter, you will be responsible for...<br /><ul><li>Routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing, burnishing, stripping and waxing on hard surface floors and stairs.</li><li>Vacuuming, bonneting and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.</li><li>Secure the work area and post proper safety notices for other users of the space prior to beginning work.</li><li>Simple maintenance tasks including, but not limited to bulb changing.</li><li>Maintain and clean the floor care equipment and ensure that appropriate chemicals are being used on proper area.</li><li>This position will require you to stand, lift, and be physically actively during the duration of your shift. Our Floor Cleaners must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and operate heavy machinery.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Must be at least 21 years of age. </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Minimum 1 ½ years experience in floor care is strongly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors with minimal to no assistance is strongly preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as a high speed buffer, low speed scrubbers, extractor, burnisher, auto scrubber is strongly preferred.</li></ul>
