Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Ability to independently apply fundamental engineering concepts to practical situations.</li> <li>Develop and maintain a list of suppliers and subcontractors.</li> <li>Work closely with building specialists such as architects, engineers, and a variety of trade workers to ensure seamless project delivery.</li> <li>Responsible for obtaining necessary permits and licenses</li> <li>Communicate with clients, municipalities, and agencies as directed.</li> <li>Ensure suppliers and subcontractors offer good quality, timely performance, and competitive pricing.</li> <li>Develop competitive and effective cost proposals based on preliminary designs.</li> <li>Develop and secure supplier purchase orders and subcontracts.</li> <li>Ensure projects are completed on time and on budget</li> <li>Document activities during the construction process.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <ul> <li>(4) years of experience in construction management.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and project scheduling software (Microsoft Project).&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with residential home building land development</li> <li>Construction knowledge</li> <li>Ability to work in a continuous improvement environment&nbsp;</li> </ul>
