Overview: Manage all construction functions on specific job sites in a single-family home community as it relates to new home construction, including customer service/home buyer communication focusing on home construction and customer service activities. Responsible for day-to-day community scheduling and management tasks.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Analyzes specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and requirements for each phase of construction making sure the project master schedule is followed</li> <li>Communicates project requirements to leadership</li> <li>Consults with supervisory personnel and subcontractors to resolve complaints and disputes</li> <li>Consults with supervisory and management personnel, inspectors and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction conflicts and improve construction methods</li> <li>Examines work in progress to ensure the adherence to construction schedules and that workmanship conforms to specifications</li> <li>Safeguards that the health and safety company policies, as well as all OSHA guidelines, are followed in every aspect of&nbsp;construction</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>5+ years of high-volume community construction related field and project management experience</li> <li>National, regional, or local spec, tract or production homebuilding experience preferred</li> <li>High school diploma/GED required, Associates degree or above preferred</li> <li>Experience with New Star, JD Edwards, BuilderMT, Sales Simplicity, BuildPro, and Timberline systems preferred</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic, honesty, integrity, self-motivated, reliable team player</li> <li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s license</li> </ul>
