Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manages and maintains project schedules for all assigned projects to assure they are completed on time.</li> <li>Manages and maintains plan files stored on corporate server.</li> <li>May manage one or more CAD associates and assist with training and performance reviews.</li> <li>May manage the workload of the CAD associate(s)</li> <li>Assists Director of Operations and National Director of Planning and Design with future planning of product needs</li> <li>Coordinates schematic design reviews with division, consultants and Planning and Design</li> <li>Assesses quality of work delivered from CAD Associate(s) and consultant team(s) and makes training recommendations to Planning and Design.</li> <li>Reviews projects at milestone completions to assure they meet value design, target profile, division requirements, and quality drafting.</li> <li>Drafts or coordinates revisions to construction drawings and schematics as needed.</li> <li>Updates division team on status of projects using current internal systems. Maintains current internal systems (scheduling, request forms, etc.).</li> <li>Tracks/maintains all plan histories and version.</li> <li>Ensures documents comply with applicable building codes, jurisdictional requirements and division/corporate standards.</li> <li>Coordinates any DRB / ARB submittal packages with municipalities.</li> <li>Assists with all other requests by VP of Operations and Division President</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in design/construction related field from accredited institution (preferred)</li> <li>Minimum four years direct work experience including use</li> <li>AutoCAD and Revit Experience</li> <li>Knowledge of residential construction, building codes, and drafting standards.</li> <li>Ability to use computers and drafting software efficiently as well as use word processing, e-mail, and spreadsheet software for communication and data analysis.</li> <li>Ability to work on several projects and tasks on a daily basis.</li> <li>Available to work beyond normal work hours if required to meet scheduled deadlines.</li> <li>Ability to read, interpret, and communicate information necessary in order to perform duties.</li> </ul>
