Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Create and foster relationships with landowners, land brokers, title companies, lenders, municipalities other homebuilders, and lot developers</li> <li>Analyze the financial aspects of each development opportunity</li> <li>Prepare complete financial analysis and pro-forma for properties under consideration for purchase</li> <li>Preparation of Corporate Approval Package</li> <li>Negotiate the acquisition of properties with sellers, landowners, attorneys or brokers</li> <li>Prepare memoranda and other docs and analytics for corporate approval for land buys</li> <li>Manage due diligence process on land acquisition opportunities, including initial master planning work in close coordination with internal design and land development teams</li> <li>Monitor development phases and entitlement processes post-closing</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>3+ years of real estate development and/or land acquisition experience</li> <li>College Degree</li> <li>Experience working with landowners, land brokers, title companies, lenders, municipalities, engineers, other homebuilders, and lot developers is highly preferred.</li> <li>Have led numerous iterations of underwriting a potential development project from start to finish.</li> <li>Salesmanship and successful experience developing business relationships.</li> <li>Experienced in the use of market research tools and knowledge of GIS mapping applications and Google Earth.</li> <li>Working knowledge of OH zoning and land use practices, development standards, and utility solutions.</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel Ability to read and interpret lot plans, plat plans</li> </ul>
