Overview: <p>S&amp;B Services is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager who is passionate about the construction process to join our team in Amarillo.</p> <p>At S&amp;B, every associate is empowered to drive their success. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout.</li> <li>Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget.</li> <li>Participate in the proposal meeting with clients to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts &amp; fees.</li> <li>Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors.</li> <li>Identify and investigate opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to project budget or schedule.</li> <li>Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work/contracts, project schedule, and site logistics plan.</li> <li>Lead preconstruction planning meetings with all designers, subcontractors and vendors aimed at solving potential constructability, sequencing, and/or manpower issues.</li> <li>Lead weekly/bi-weekly OAC meetings on-site once construction begins to review progress and address challenges directly with client.</li> <li>Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports.</li> <li>Local travel to project sites within the city is required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s of Engineering program, Construction Management or related field of study.</li> <li>Open to full-time opportunity post-grad.</li> <li>Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.</li> <li>Prior construction internship experience is a plus.</li> <li>Extracurricular involvement is a plus.</li> </ul>
