Responsibilities: <strong>What You&rsquo;ll Do.</strong><br />As the Lead Auditor you will plan, develop, and manage our moderately complex audit programs. You will be the point person to assess levels of risk and the evaluation of the significance of audit findings; as well as, evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and follow-up on prior audit issues. The Lead Auditor will be SECU&rsquo;s project leader on the moderately complex reviews of assigned business activities (operational, financial, compliance, and/or information technology centric) and you will collaborate with Internal Audit departments of partner credit unions.<br /><br />The position will also evaluate compliance with applicable company policies and procedures, industry standards, NCUA, state and federal laws and regulations and develop work papers which support the audit activity, including the testing performed and the audit conclusions.<br /><br />In addition, you will work with management to resolve audit issues and participate in special senior management directed reviews as assigned.<br /><br />Are you interested? Requirements: <strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For.</strong> <ul> <li>Education: B.S degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or a related business discipline.</li> <li>Experience: 3 + years audit experience preferred. SECU will consider accounting, regulatory compliance or financial related experience in a financial institution.</li> <li>Attainment of (or in process of attaining) Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification(s) is required.</li> </ul>
