Overview: <p>The Groundskeeper /Janitorial/Maintenance Trainer safeguards the interests of the owners by maintaining the physical condition of property and equipment according to company guidelines/standards, and protecting the property and equipment from damage, loss, and deterioration.</p> <p>This role is an entry-level maintenance position. SG will assist with your training and development in the maintenance field. Growth opportunities are available for those who love to learn and work hard!&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Must demonstrate and model SG Companies core values.</li> <li>Performs common area maintenance, including but not limited to: picking up trash on the grounds, around the buildings, in the bushes and hallways. May also include: moping, sweeping, vacuuming carpeted areas in the office, clubhouse, fitness center, pool, model (if applicable), and restrooms.</li> <li>Snow shoveling and salting of sidewalks around the property and adhere to snow removal policy.</li> <li>Landscaping maintenance: Lawn care, leave removal around clubhouse, common entryways, pulling of weeds in flowerbeds.</li> <li>Building inspections: including but not limited to reporting/changing of lightbulbs in the common hallways, storage rooms, stairwells, and foyers. This will also include outside lighting: light poles, entry doors, wall packs.</li> <li>Vacuum the pool daily.</li> <li>Reports inventory of supplies needed to the Service Supervisor.</li> <li>Reports any issues/damages on the exterior of all buildings.</li> <li>Completes service requests that pertain to grounds keeping issues for new move-in, models or for common areas.</li> <li>Assists with the completion of service requests and turns as needed.</li> <li>Assists office staff in delivering correspondences to residents.</li> <li>Adheres to established policies related to fair housing.</li> </ul>
