Overview: <p>The Marketing Analyst is responsible for maintaining and reporting on marketing data to aid management in determining marketing direction. The Marketing Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing data regarding customers, competition, target markets and marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have experience doing marketing research and then planning and measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Manage the creation of materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentation materials and reports. Manage special events, projects and mailings. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a positive, energetic and "can-do" attitude, as well as a strong eye for detail and the ability to focus on the "big picture&rdquo;.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Candidate must be a self-starter with a diligent work ethic.</li> <li>Write strategy documents, news releases, pitches, key messages, media training documents, backgrounders, Q&amp;As etc.; reinforce our brand and further tell the SGES story</li> <li>Responsible for planning and developing the marketing calendar and overall communications strategy, as well as measuring the effectiveness of campaigns across marketing channels.</li> <li>Through research and analysis, develop a deep understanding of our customer base and target markets, identifying trends and seeking opportunities to maximize our revenue.</li> <li>Conduct market research that feeds into customer insights, competitive advantages and brand perceptions.</li> <li>Acts as the primary owner of key reporting and analysis, including marketing metrics, customer database KPI's, campaign performance, website analytics, and ROI calculations.</li> <li>Analyze data from multiple sources (online and offline data) from marketing campaigns (emails and other digital marketing efforts) including response rates, web site conversions, multi-touch attribution, incremental sales revenue increases, and ROI.</li> <li>Conduct quarterly competitive analysis, which includes advertisements, tradeshow presence, PR, marketing materials and website messaging and measure effectiveness of campaigns.</li> <li>Perform competitive keyword analysis, review and recommend changes to list of targeted keywords, volume and revenue, traffic mix, click-through rates, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, or cost per click.</li> <li>Develop and implement procedures for advertising needs, social media postings and customer review responses.</li> <li>Through the management of the company website, identify new innovative solutions to identify SGES as the employer of choice</li> <li>Complies with all company policies and standards.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Marketing or relevant coursework highly preferred</li> <li>Proficient with excel including creating charts, pivot tables, and presentations</li> <li>Critical thinking and problem solving are imperative skills for success</li> <li>Must be innovative and open to think outside of the box</li> <li>Well versed in marketing funnel reporting and industry KPIs, such as website analytics, MQLs, pipeline, conversion ratios and ROI</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years of relevant marketing analysis/brand management or sales experience</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, complex environment</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interpret data providing simple, well thought out conclusion</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a result-driven, team-oriented environment</li> <li>Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once</li> </ul> <p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
