Responsibilities: <p><u>What you&rsquo;ll be doing:</u></p> <ul> <li>Traffic analysis of alternative designs during planning, NEPA and project development/design phases</li> <li>Traffic design for inclusion in Plans, Specification and Estimate (PS&amp;E) packages</li> <li>Performance of traffic safety analyses and safety assessments</li> <li>Identification of data requirements and data collection methods</li> </ul> <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Use of Traffic engineering tools, such as:</span><br /> <ul> <li>Highway Capacity Software (HCS)</li> <li>Traffic signal timing software</li> <li>Traffic Queuing analysis</li> <li>Roundabout analysis software</li> <li>Performing or review of Traffic Impact Studies</li> <li>Review of design and analysis performed by others</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><u>What you need:</u></p> <ul> <li>Excellent client service and business development skills.</li> <li>Successful project management skills and experience.</li> <li>Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Has or is motivated to pursue PTOE license.</li> <li>The ability to manage a team.</li> </ul> <p><u>Qualifications for the successful candidate are:</u></p> <ul> <li>Progressive experience in traffic analysis and roadway design.</li> <li>Bachelor or higher degree in civil engineering, transportation engineering or related field.</li> <li>Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, HCS and Synchro, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and use new software.</li> <li>Valid Colorado driver&rsquo;s license.</li> <li>Colorado PE license.</li> <li>Knowledge of State DOT / FHWA policies and procedures.</li> </ul>
