Business Development & Support Functions

Overview: <br />The Webcasts Associate Producer is responsible for coordinating and producing live and recorded webcasts and podcast programs for SHRM members and shrm.org website visitors. The position also actively contributes to the development and implementation of new webcast and podcast initiatives. This programming contributes to SHRM&rsquo;s member engagement and retention goals and supports revenue initiatives across SHRM. The position collaborates with SHRM&rsquo;s sales, editorial, membership, marketing, and social media teams.<br /><br /> <p><strong><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Work Environment:<br /><br /></span></strong>Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and conference settings and routinely uses standard office equipment. Travel Required: Occasional 0-10%.</p>
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Serve as technical support for the webcast series. This includes having a thorough understanding of the webcast platform used to deliver webcasts and optimizing the platform for webcast speakers, creating event-related web pages, integrating interactive elements and video, editing programs when needed</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Follow precise checklists for program preparation, including but not limited to adding upcoming events to the website, providing basic webcast technical support to viewers participating during the live viewing of the program, and troubleshooting web browser and other internet-related issues</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Create, post, and update webcast descriptions, video and audio clips, and other media material on the SHRM website. coordinate the program marketing with the Sales support and newsletter production teams</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Monitor the project management site to ensure that all sponsor and speaker inquiries are being answered on a timely basis</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Keep the SHRM webcast landing page(s) updated and work with the webcast production team to maintain the program archive pages</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Monitor the SHRM webcast production email box, including answering all member inquiries regarding technical issues and recertification audit</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Contribute to social media campaigns, including graphics and posting program highlights to the SHRM social media accounts to promote webcast and multimedia programming</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Help compile webcast statistics and provide reports to SHRM&rsquo;s Sales support team</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: medium;">Other duties as assigned</span></li> </ul>
