Overview: <div> <p>The Senior Specialist, Event Experience is a key member of SHRM&rsquo;s Event Strategy and Experience team which is ultimately responsible for the planning and execution of SHRM&rsquo;s Annual Conference and specialty conference portfolio. The Senior Specialist serves as internal lead on all aspects of event registration management for both in-person and virtual events while also supporting delivery of event technology, accessibility, and other logistics. The Senior Specialist is driven by top-notch customer service and remains calm and collected under pressure. They thrive on analyzing data and can use data to project registration and revenue trends. They will be tech savvy and interested in the latest event technology trends. The Senior Specialist helps to ensure all SHRM conferences are meeting best practices in accessibility. Responsibilities: <div> <p><strong>EVENT REGISTRATION &amp; ATTENDEE SERVICES MANAGEMENT&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> </div> <div> <p>Serves as team lead for all event registration at all conferences, including:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </div> <div> <ul> <li> <p>Creation and monitoring of policies and procedures and registration rates.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Creation of event products in NetSuite.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Daily, weekly, and monthly registration count and revenue projection reporting and dashboards. Analyzes registration data and trends for benefit of event business.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Assembly of onsite registration materials (badges, bags, ribbons, lanyards, printed materials, SHRM and sponsor branded items).&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Works closely with vendors to plan floorplans and logistical needs including electricity and internet.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Plans and leads staffing and security needs onsite at registration service locations.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Provides training and management with onsite staffing.&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Troubleshoots registration issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li> <p>Contributes to all registration related attendee communications.</p> </li> <li> <p>Builds strong relationships and works cross functionally with key internal stakeholders across Accounting, Customer Experience, IT, eCommerce, Business Intelligence, Enterprise, and more.
