Overview: The Lead Researcher, Enterprise Market Research plans and supports ways to support the market research needs of SHRM&rsquo;s Enterprise Solutions team by identifying growth opportunities through data products and managing the market research activities of these opportunities.<br /><br /> <h4><strong>Work Environment:</strong></h4> <p><strong>Hybrid Position (3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Remote):</strong></p> <ul> <li>This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring in-office presence [three days per week] and remote work [two days per week]. Core work hours will be designated by the department. The office environment includes a standard workstation setup with collaborative spaces, while remote work requires a reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home workspace. Employees must maintain availability during standard business hours and adhere to company policies for both in-office and remote work.</li> <li><strong>Travel:</strong>&nbsp;0 &ndash; 10%</li> </ul> <em><br /><br />The hiring range for this position is $110,000 to $135,000 per year. This range is an estimate and the actual salary may vary based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. SHRM offers a competitive and comprehensive total rewards package. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Work with Enterprise Solutions team to create new revenue opportunities through SHRM data assets.</li> <li>Collaborate with product teams to design and develop new data assets.</li> <li>Build relationships with external partners to improve and augment data capabilities.</li> <li>Understand the unique needs of Enterprise customers to guide product development and create data products that provide value and increase customer loyalty.</li> <li>Ensure all projects are aligned with company goals and run efficiently.</li> <li>Partner with internal teams to ensure SHRM&rsquo;s member database is updated with newly collected Enterprise data fields.</li> <li>Other duties and projects as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in research, marketing, market research, statistics; or equivalent relevant work experience/training.</li> <li>Master&rsquo;s degree in research, marketing, market research, statistics, or other related area preferred.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least seven (7) years of experience with market research and survey research, working on large, complex data sets.</li> <li>Experience with product and customer-based data analysis.&nbsp;</li> <li>Hands-on experience designing and delivering customer segmentation analyses.</li> <li>Experience functioning in a highly matrixed organization.</li> <li>Experience in data analysis tools and survey software (e.g., Tableau, SPSS, R, Qualtrics)</li> <li>Notable accomplishments in data storytelling &amp; customer demographics data.</li> <li>Exposure to predictive analytics.</li> </ul> <br /> <h4><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Strong data analysis skills and mathematical statistical tool proficiency.</li> <li>High attention to detail and high level of accuracy.</li> <li>Professional integrity is necessary to maintain confidentiality.</li> <li>Strong planning skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to complete assigned duties within critical deadlines.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment.</li> <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).</li> <li>Proficiency with modern reporting platforms and tools like Tableau and Alteryx.</li> <li>Ability to grasp complex platform concepts and business models, in a digital context.</li> <li>Ability to derive and present compelling stories based on data and metrics.</li> <li>Ability to build professional relationships across reporting lines.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h4><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></h4> <p>This position operates in a typical office environment and requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
