Responsibilities: Reports to: Restaurant Manager<br />Primary Purpose: Responsible for providing food and beverage service to customers in the Winner's Circle Restaurant or Jockey Club. <br />Responsibilities: <br /><ul><li>Prepare table settings and side stations in assigned area prior lo opening.</li><li>Greet customers, present menus, inform customers of daily specials or buffet offerings, make suggestions, answer questions and take beverage orders.</li><li>Process food and beverage orders In POS system.</li><li>Pick up and serve beverage orders from service bar to customers properly and in a timely manner.</li><li>Close out guest checks and collect payment from customer.</li><li>Process vouchers for credit cards and make change for cash transactions.</li><li>Assist bus staff with stocking, removing and resetting dishes, glassware, flatware, table linens and other related restaurant supplies as needed.</li><li>Secure stations at end of shift, return all linens, condiments, dishes, glassware and flatware to appropriate areas.</li></ul>
Requirements: Education/Certifications: Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma. TABC certification required.<br />Work Experience: 1-2 years experience in dining and be knowledgeable of the sequence of service and typical dining room procedures.<br />
