We believe that a healthy, happy workforce is key to success, and we strive to create a supportive environment that allows our staff to thrive both professionally and personally.</em><em><br /><br /></em></p> <p><strong><u>PURPOSE:</u></strong></p> <p>Provide behavioral health services, including counseling and person-centered treatment planning through evidence-based practice to improve clients life functioning. &nbsp;</p> <p><em>&nbsp;</em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p data-pasted="true"><strong>SHIFT:</strong></p> <p>Part-Time Contract 16 Hours Saturday &amp; Sunday- On Site at Crosswinds Center in Maxwelton, WV.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul type="1"> <li>Assess client problems by collecting and evaluating information about the client&rsquo;s symptoms and functioning.</li> <li>Develop an individual treatment plan with measurable goals to address client specific issues. &nbsp;</li> <li>Aid client by suggesting and exploring behavioral resolutions and discussing progress towards resolving behavioral issues.</li> <li>Assist client in obtaining services by initiating referrals.</li> <li>Monitor progress toward treatment strategy by evaluating and adjusting services provided, if needed.</li> <li>If independently licensed, participate in treatment planning multidisciplinary team meetings to monitor client progress in treatment and make any needed clinical recommendations and/or give clinical guidance. &nbsp;</li> <li>If independently licensed and approved, perform clinical evaluations and testimony related to mental hygiene hearings.</li> <li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; obtaining required continuing education as required by professional license; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and reviewing relevant state rules and regulations regarding the provision of services.</li> <li>Promote the agency by ensuring an understanding of program services available for clients; by appropriately&nbsp;publicizing activities and accomplishments; adhering to a professional code of ethics.</li> <li>Assure quality service for clients by&nbsp;becoming knowledgeable of and adhering to rules, regulations, and legal requirements and by documenting services provided and data collection and reporting in accordance with established standards.</li> <li>Secure information by adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations and Seneca privacy policies and keeping client information confidential.</li> <li>Represent Seneca in a positive manner including maintaining a positive attitude and performing duties in a manner in accordance with Seneca&rsquo;s Code of Conduct and Ethical Practice.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <p><strong>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology and license or eligibility for license required. &nbsp;</li> <li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and vehicle required. &nbsp;</li> <li>Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Employment Fitness Determination through WVCARES and a drug screen. &nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer skills required.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED</u></strong></p> <p>Able to represent Seneca in a positive manner including maintaining a positive attitude and performing duties in a manner in accordance with Seneca&rsquo;s Core Values and Code of Conduct &amp; Ethical Practice. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with person-centered approach. Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
