Overview: We are currently searching for an experienced and highly analytical Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our production department in Redmond, Oregon. As the Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that our products are produced efficiently and meet quality expectations. The chosen candidate will plan, direct activities for the development, application and maintenance of production and quality standards including: SOPs, QCPs and QAM for manufacturing processes, direct materials and finished goods. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.</li> <li>Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.</li> <li>Establish program to evaluate, inspect and test all incoming raw materials to ensure all critical specifications are being satisfied.</li> <li>Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.</li> <li>Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions, calling for repairs.</li> <li>Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.</li> <li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.</li> <li>Plan, promote and organize training activities related to product reliability and quality. In coordination with the Director of Operations, implement standard training program for manufacturing personnel on SOPs, QCPs and QAM.</li> <li>Establish baseline cost of quality data through historical data and develop quarterly reduction targets utilizing DMAIC methodology.</li> <li>In coordination with the Director of Operations, implement standard corrective action system covering all areas of the value stream and work directly with responsible parties to mitigate quality issues.</li> <li>Actively support the development of new products and programs to ensure proper quality assurance requirements are being satisfied at product launch state.</li> <li>Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.</li> </ul> <br />
