Overview: We are searching for an experienced Water Spider: Material Handler at our&nbsp;<strong>Salt Lake City, UT</strong>&nbsp;facility.&nbsp;<br /><br />We are seeking an experienced Material Handler for the Production Floor at our Subzero Engineering facility in Salt Lake City, UT. This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work during the day shift, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with possible overtime on Friday. This is an hourly, Non-Exempt position. This is an internal Job Posting.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Develop intimate knowledge of the processes supported by the facility.</li> <li>Pick up and drop off materials at pre-designated areas at scheduled intervals.</li> <li>Keep the workplace clean and organized to facilitate the efficient flow of materials.</li> <li>Movement of materials to their intended locations.</li> <li>5S activities for all responsible areas (Sorting, Organizing, Cleaning, and Sweeping.</li> <li>Facilitate the flow of materials by participating in the production process including assembly, building of components, shipping, and receiving as needed.</li> <li>Transacting material to jobs and non-conformances.</li> <li>Work with purchasing and supply chain in the inventory management process. Including cycle counting, physical inventory, notification of stock outs, etc.</li> <li>Flexibility to cross-train as necessary.</li> <li>Other duties as requested by management.</li> </ul>
