Overview: We are searching for an experienced Engineer, Manufacturing at our&nbsp;<strong>Mankato, MN</strong>&nbsp;facility.&nbsp;<br /><br />Responsible for supporting the manufacturing team in their efforts to produce product according to customer demand. This includes assisting in the creation, correction, and interpretation of drawings, BOMs, routings, transactions, etc. Improve the business by contributing, supporting, and implementing ideas to enhance processes and practices for the business unit. Lead by example to create a positive culture by ensuring a safe work environment, always exhibiting honesty, and always respecting other people.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Understand and promote Senneca Mission and Values at all times and ensure that safety policies and procedures are&nbsp;being followed.</li> <li>Daily production support, including topics related to morale, safety, quality, delivery, and cost.</li> <li>Coordinates Design for Manufacturability improvements.</li> <li>Lead or assist in leading key manufacturing related projects of various scale, including capital expenditures and lean improvements.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.</li> <li>Exposure to production shop conditions; including moving mechanical equipment, and exposure to various fumes, heat, cold, and irritants.</li> <li>The noise level can be high due to operation of production equipment.<br /> <br /> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Safety Equipment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Safety Glasses at all times on shop floor.</li> <li>Safety shoes at all times on shop floor.</li> <li>Other PPE as required, such as hearing protection, tinted eyewear, and cut resistant gloves.<br /> <br /> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sit, walk and stand for eight or more hours.</li> <li>Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.</li> </ul>
