Your responsibilities will revolve around product development, optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. From conception to production, your expertise will contribute to elevating our products' quality, performance, and overall satisfaction.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Product Design:&nbsp;<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with Product Experts and Process Engineers to conceptualize and design cutting-edge products.</li> <li>Work alongside the Sales and Marketing Departments to develop engaging sales media and graphics that resonate with our target audience.</li> <li>Craft clear, user-friendly installation and user guides to provide comprehensive support for our clients.</li> <li>Maintain precise and up-to-date bills of materials to streamline product development and manufacturing processes.</li> <li>Collaborate with the Manufacturing Department to produce functional prototypes, showcasing innovative concepts.</li> <li>Evaluate existing product offerings to identify potential cost reduction and system&nbsp;enhancement avenues.</li> <li>Contribute to the development of efficient tooling and setup processes in partnership with the Manufacturing Department.</li> <li>Provide essential CAD and manufacturing engineering support to the Director of Operations for the implementation of new manufacturing technology initiatives, equipment layout, and successful start-up endeavors.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Product Development:&nbsp;<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Assume a leadership role as the project manager in all stages of new product development, guiding projects from initial concept to prototype development and eventual production.</li> <li>Lead or support the identification and integration of emerging manufacturing technologies aligned with our pursuit of enhanced efficiency and competitiveness.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Management to drive continuous improvements, enhancing ongoing operations' overall effectiveness and efficiency.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Proficiency in creating comprehensive, user-friendly instruction and procedure documents.</li> <li>Effective communication skills to facilitate seamless interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Expertise in 3D parametric software such as Inventor, CREO, or SolidWorks, enabling you to bring innovative designs to fruition.</li> <li>Experience using AutoCAD as a design tool to generate impactful solutions.</li> <li>Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, to support comprehensive documentation and data analysis.</li> <li>Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy across all documentation and design aspects.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to collaboratively work within a team environment, contributing positively to collective efforts.</li> <li>Capacity to align your work with sales and manufacturing priorities, consistently&nbsp;meeting deadlines and surpassing expectations.</li> <li>Solid understanding of the engineering design process, encompassing conceptual and physical design, procurement support, engineering testing, failure root-cause analysis, and product qualification.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar disciplines.</li> <li>Previous experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor&rsquo;s degree.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Desired Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Infor CSI (ERP) experience.</li> <li>DFMA experience.</li> <li>Critical Thinker with proven record of following systematic problem-solving techniques.</li> <li>Demonstrates innovative and creative problem solving and design&nbsp;skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Competencies:&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Paygrade/Position Competencies, per Competency Map.</p> <p><strong>Travel Requirements:<br /></strong><br /> No travel required on a regular basis.</p>
