Overview: Senneca Holdings, located in Redmond Oregon, is a door manufacturing company looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, process research and development, product &amp; process testing, solid modeling, detail drawings, CNC programming, establishing and maintaining processes and procedures, and machine repair and trouble shooting.<br />This person will also be responsible for product release documentation including, but not limited to, detailed drawings, bill of materials, costing and procedure writing. The manufacturing engineer will also support and maintain processes, participate in continuous improvement activities and develop CAD drawings. Critical thinking, problem solving skills and high mechanical aptitude are a must.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Identify and execute continuous improvement projects</li> <li>Owns Item and BOM Creation and Maintenance</li> <li>Manages the Configure Hold &ndash; Custom Order Item Process</li> <li>CNC Programming and Trouble Shooting</li> <li>Design and distribute shop floor Production Drawings</li> <li>Develops and oversees Procedure Documentation and Control Plans</li> <li>Oversees and supports exception reporting and shop floor reporting accuracy</li> <li>Fulfills Customer Approval Drawing requests</li> <li>Manages product costing requests</li> <li>Supports the Customer Service and Manufacturing on Technical information</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 2-4 years of manufacturing or mechanical related work experience is required</li> <li>Skilled in use of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Inventor, SolidWorks and common office software (Excel, Word, etc.)</li> <li>CNC Programming experience and troubleshooting G&amp;M code</li> <li>Working knowledge of bill of material structure and costing</li> <li>Basic understanding of ERP systems and general business terminology</li> <li>Understanding in Lean Enterprise, 5S, PDCA, root cause analysis</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving skills including root cause analysis</li> <li>Good interpersonal skills, including ability to work in a self-directed environment, and strong communication skills (written and oral)</li> <li>Good mechanical/technical skills</li> <li>Machine/Equipment repair experience</li> <li>Preventive Maintenance experience</li> </ul> <br />Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.<br /><br />**Please no Third-party candidates or phone calls**
