Overview: We are searching for an Associate Project Manager at our Mankato, MN facility to support the Door Engineering product lines.&nbsp;&nbsp;This role will be responsible for coordination of projects with internal and external customers from the time of order acceptance until product shipment.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintain schedules for multiple concurrent projects including utilizing scheduling software such as Monday.com, Excel, and Manufacturing/ERP system.</li> <li>Prioritize engineering schedules based on customer needs and internal capacity.</li> <li>Communicate and negotiate delivery details with customers.</li> <li>Communicate regularly with internal and external customers, including installers, end-users, architects and general contractors regarding project information, product data, status updates, and scheduling.</li> <li>Provide responses to internal and external requests both promptly and accurately with complete information.</li> <li>Verify submittal package meets expectations of sales orders, customer requirements and project specifications. Resolve discrepancies with internal and external customers.</li> <li>Transmit submittal drawing packages and product data to customers, as well as arrange additional information requested by customers.</li> <li>Develop sufficient product knowledge to resolve customer technical questions regarding product fit, finish, and capabilities.</li> <li>Change order identification and coordination for any post-award job changes that occur.</li> <li>Communicate cost of design time and materials associated with customer changes to Sales Team and/or customer.</li> <li>Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.</li> <li>Participate Weekly/Daily Scheduling and SIOP meetings.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelors or Associates degree in an engineering, business, related field, or equivalent experience</li> <li>Experience working with contractors and/or customers</li> <li>Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred</li> <li>Ability to learn technical aspects of door systems and manufacturing</li> <li>Strong communication skills (verbal and written)</li> <li>Ability to solve problems and work cross-functionally to resolve</li> <li>Able to effectively locate, communicate, and document information</li> <li>Computer Skills: Proficient Typing Skills, Word, Outlook, Excel</li> <li>Able to learn Manufacturing/ERP system, and CAD Viewing programs</li> <li>Ability to travel to job sites as necessary (&lt;5%)</li> </ul> <br /><br />Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.<br /><br />**Please no Third-party candidates or phone calls**
