Overview: We are searching for an experienced Glass Assembly Machine Operator at our&nbsp;<strong>Irving, TX</strong>&nbsp;facility.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Read/measure glass accurately with tape measure.</li> <li>Check glass quality and be able to identify basic glass defects.</li> <li>Place glass into bungees racks and metal A-frames per customer required specifications.</li> <li>Should be able to accurately reject glass from bungees and squeeze racks.</li> <li>Properly close finished orders.</li> <li>Read and fill out proper unload paperwork (run list, packing maps).</li> <li>Should be able to set up customer orders properly.</li> <li>Communicate with the Q.C. and shift lead regarding quality or breakage issues.</li> <li>Never allow the line to get backed up with glass.</li> <li>Must possess a high sense of urgency.</li> <li>Help unload packer when able depending on glass production requirements.</li> </ul>
