Overview: We are searching for an experienced Second Shift Production Lead at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.<br /><br />We are seeking a Production Lead for our Night Shift. 4 pm to 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday. This person will oversee hourly output of quality parts and services in assigned areas in accordance with the production plan and customer expectations. Create a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of improvement ideas and the development of team members. Lead by example and always ensure a safe and respectful work environment. Two dollar ($2) per hour differential for second shift.<br /><br /> Excellent Benefits: 3 Weeks of Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Short and Long-term Disability, and much more.<br /><br />Minimum requirements are strong attendance, 6 months in assembly, and 1 or more years of experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supervise the daily output of 5-10 team members.</li> <li>Keep daily production on track to the plan and respond to recover when off track.</li> <li>Fill in for absent team members.</li> <li>Ensure the output of high-quality parts and services and that standards are being adhered to by all team members.</li> <li>Understand and promote the Senneca mission and values at all times and ensure that safety policies and procedures are being followed.</li> <li>Ensure respectful behavior and communication among all team members at all times.</li> <li>Lead and conduct start-up meetings and other events as needed.</li> <li>Participate in the continual development and training of all team members.</li> <li>Ensure that change for the better is always happening (improving the business).</li> <li>Support and encourage the creation and implementation of continuous improvement ideas among team members.</li> <li>Understand and continually teach the principles of 5S and waste elimination.</li> <li>Build a high-performance worksite.</li> <li>Use daily one on one interactions to continually develop team members.</li> <li>Ensure that best practices are being maintained, sustained, and improved.</li> <li>Lead or participate in improvement events.</li> <li>Be available to work flexible hours as necessary.</li> <li>Get results by working effectively with, and bringing out the best, in team members.</li> <li>Be aware of and escalate any personnel issues to Supervisor and HR representative.</li> <li>Participate in tracking daily attendance and other performance metrics.</li> <li>Coordinate with and assist other team leaders.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>

No torn clothes/excessively dirty clothes shall be worn during working hours. No dangerous loose clothing shall be worn including clothes with rips or holes. Long hair must be pulled back during work hours.<br />Employees are expected to exercise proper hygiene.<br />No loose-fitting jewelry can be worn for safety purposes of the operator.<br />Sit, walk, and stand for eight or more hours<br />Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
