Our production facility in Redmond, Oregon rotationally molds and assembles double acting traffic doors and extrudes PVC roll goods and assembles PVC strip doors.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Manager with a strong background in Lean manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the production process, ensuring 1) the protection of our people &ndash; safety and morale, 2) the protection of our customer &ndash; quality and delivery, and 3) the protection of our business &ndash; productivity. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization.</li> <li>Implement Lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.</li> <li>Develop, monitor, and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands and company targets.</li> <li>Lead and mentor production staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration.</li> <li>Analyze production metrics and KPIs, generating reports to identify areas for improvement and drive performance enhancements.</li> <li>Collaborate with other departments, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Human Resources, to ensure seamless operations and integration of Lean practices.</li> <li>Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as necessary to minimize downtime and disruptions.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment.</li> </ul>
