Responsibilities will include to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety. Also, manage predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site&rsquo;s business goals and objectives; oversee preventative maintenance of all equipment, ordering and inventory of all spare parts, tools, supplies, etc.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>To ensure all Company production equipment is working efficiently and safely.</li> <li>Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility&rsquo;s equipment.</li> <li>Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.</li> <li>Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.</li> <li>Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, inspect, test and make adjustments.</li> <li>Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. This will include direct involvement with predictive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance systems (CMMS).</li> <li>Document in writing and review periodically for completeness.</li> <li>Maintain an adequate inventory of parts, tools, back-up equipment and supplies needed to run the physical plant and keep equipment operational as communicated by the Maintenance Manager.</li> <li>Follow appropriate purchasing procedures as outlined in the Corporate Procurement Policy.</li> <li>Make sure that as new chemicals, parts, etc. arrive that an SDS is placed on the file for that product and any special handling, storage, etc. requirements are brought to the attention of the plant safety coordinator.</li> <li>Be aware of any environmental issues and resolve them; be aware of any environmental recordkeeping required and ensure it is done properly.</li> <li>Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.</li> <li>To work with the Safety Administrator to implement all safety programs at Win Plastics so as to provide a safe work environment for all employees and meet all required OSHA standards.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Knowledge of basic electrical components and meters and able to run appropriate test for amps.&nbsp;This requires knowledge of VOM&rsquo;s, temperature probes, am probes and other various electrical testers.</li> <li>Ability to work with voltages up to 480v, utilizing test equipment under power.&nbsp;Must be able to read schematics and possess full understanding of process equipment flow charts.</li> <li>Technical training in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance a plus. Continue and enhance training and education on new and updated technology with regards to manufacturing equipment.</li> <li>Have ability to detect sounds and troubleshoot from sound. Have ability to recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.&nbsp;Also, the ability to hear where the sound is coming from.</li> <li>PLC/HMI control knowledge a plus.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Education:</strong><br /> </p> <p>Requires a high school diploma or a GED with a completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.<br /> <br /> <br /> <strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must b met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
