Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing enhancement ideas and developing team members. Lead by example, ensuring a safe and respectful work environment at all times. Requires strong attendance and a minimum of 6 months of experience assembling various product lines.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintain daily production schedules and address any deviations promptly.</li> <li>Fill in for absent team members as needed.</li> <li>Ensure high-quality output and adherence to standards by all team members.</li> <li>Promote and uphold the company's mission, values, and safety policies.</li> <li>Foster respectful communication and behavior among team members.</li> <li>Lead start-up meetings and other necessary events.</li> <li>Participate in the ongoing development and training of team members.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement by encouraging and implementing team member ideas.</li> <li>Teach and uphold principles of 5S and waste elimination.</li> <li>Develop a high-performance worksite through daily interactions.</li> <li>Ensure best practices are sustained and improved.</li> <li>Lead or participate in improvement events.</li> <li>Work flexible hours as necessary.</li> <li>Achieve results by effectively managing and motivating team members.</li> <li>Escalate personnel issues to Supervisor and HR as needed.</li> <li>Track daily attendance and performance metrics.</li> <li>Coordinate with and assist other team leaders.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum of 6 months of experience assembling various product lines.</li> <li>Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment.</li> </ul> <p><br /><strong>Desired Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in construction or manufacturing environments.</li> <li>Knowledge of ERP systems.</li> <li>Proficiency in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective actions (5 Whys).</li> <li>Mastery of 5S, waste elimination, and lean principles.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, etc.).</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong process thinking skills.</li> <li>Positive attitude and ability to teach and mentor others.</li> <li>Flexibility and adaptability to change.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of assigned product lines and processes.</li> <li>Customer-focused mindset.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a team to achieve strong results.</li> <li>Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.</li> <li>Change management skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit, walk, and stand for eight or more hours.</li> <li>Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.</li> <li>Exposure to production shop conditions, including moving mechanical equipment, fumes, heat, cold, and irritants.</li> <li>High noise levels due to production equipment.</li> <li>Proper clothing and hygiene standards must be maintained.</li> <li>No loose-fitting jewelry or clothing with rips or holes for safety reasons.
